Blenko is Fired Up Again!

220. Curve

While following news of our local economy we hear so many ups and downs. My favorite good news lately was that Blenko has resumed partial production. It’s only partial production and they have no idea how long it will continue and whether they’ll be able to return to full production, but I’m still thrilled to have them back. The employees are rotating through shifts so that each has an opportunity to work.

This return to work is possible because of the outpouring of support Blenko has received since their shut down. Please don’t stop now! If you’ve been thinking of a visit to Blenko, please go. I’ve been making sure my giftable occasions involve colorful Blenko glass.

Welcome back, Blenko!  We hope to have you around for a long, long time.

I had hoped that Blenko would be helped in a similar way as Fenton was! Never underestimate the power of the pocketbook. :-)

My sister was adopted, and her adoptive family is from St. Albans. Her adoptive mother gave me a gift the first time we met… from Blenko, and since then I have acquired two beautiful pieces of glass from there. I get compliments on them all the time!
