Changing What They See
We live in and love West Virginia. Somehow others don’t always see us the way we see us. Some mistaken ideas about West Virginia have spread around the country to people who don’t really know us.
Well, we don’t have to accept that. The wonderful thing about blogging is that we create our own media.
Lead by Jason Keeling of A Better West Virginia, local bloggers are working to change the way West Virginia is viewed by both those of us living here and elsewhere. Tomorrow is West Virginia’s 145th birthday and bloggers will be talking about the old stereotypes of West Virginia and the new ones that we can build together.
I hope you’ll take a little time on West Virginia’s birthday to read a few extra blogs. I hope that you’ll see that wherever we go, we are representing our beautiful state. We can be the change we want to see in West Virginia.
Below you’ll see just a few of the bloggers who are taking part in our blog carnival. I hope you’ll get to know us all a little better and work with us to better shape the way the rest of the country views our great state.
