How To Shelter In Place

In this area of West Virginia, it is not unheard of to have to shelter in place due to a chemical leak.

The basic idea of shelter in place is to not open doors or windows, turn of any ventilation systems (do not bring in air from outside) and stay indoors.

Normally, that is enough until the shelter in place advisory has been lifted. But in the event that a more thorough shelter in place is called for, please read and familiarize yourself with “How to Shelter-in-Place” by the American Red Cross.

Scarified me a bit, too. Turns out it was our usually pollution, just concentrated for effect.
