PVA Adhesive over Epoxy

PVA will not stick to epoxy. December 24, 2012

Question
Does anyone know if PVA glues will stick to thoroughly cured epoxies?

Forum Responses

From Professor Gene Wengert, forum technical advisor:
It is my opinion that they will not.

From contributor R:
PVAs have to penetrate into the substrate to bond. The water also needs to release somehow. Epoxies will not allow the PVA to bond.
