So, The Mayor of Hurricane Called …
Ah, blogging is good for the soul. I get to write about whatever I like and even whatever I don’t, and sometimes I get rewarded.
I don’t like the dog limit law in Hurricane. I just don’t. I think that there are times when people have dogs that are a nuisance, yes, but I don’t think it really has much to do with whether you have one dog or three or more. I think it’s more about how you take care of them.
Apparently, Scott Edwards agrees.
A couple of days ago, I wrote about Scott’s plan to remove the number from the law, hoping to remind him that he said it. (Very clever of me, don’t you think?)
Scott read my blog, called me and told me he plans to do just that. We had a very nice chat about future plans for Hurricane and I can tell you, it sounds good to me. He sees us moving in a positive direction and I do, too!
I particularly look forward to the newsletter he plans to use to keep us all up-to-date — available in email form or published to pick up at spots around town.
I’d like this blog to function as a way to spread news about
If you have topics you’d like to see discussed here, please leave me a comment and I’ll see what I can do for you. If you’d like to leave a private comment, just let me know you don’t want it published, and it will be just between us.
This is our home and what we do with it matters.
Scott, thank you for calling me today and I look forward to working with you in the future.
