Underground Kitchen
This morning on Twitter, local blogger Bill Gardner (aka Oncee) asked if anyone was going to the next Underground Kitchen. Having never heard of it, I had to click his link.
I was immediately charmed by the idea – I’d never heard of such a thing! They’re not a restaurant. According to their website, they’re
“just a giant, infrequent dinner party involving strangers and amateur cooks who like good food and don’t mind making a few new friends. And a surprise menu prepared from local ingredients by hometown gourmands.”
Their next dining event will be July 19th, at a location that will be disclosed to those who will be attending by email a couple days ahead of time. (I am just SO loving the surprise element of it all!)
This is first come, first served and there is only space for 30 to attend. If you want in on the fun, act quickly!
