Want to Say Thank You to a Soldier?
Our soldiers voluntarily give up a part of their lives to serve our country and keep us safe. They are asked to leave their families and travel all over the world. They are expected to be willing to give their lives to keep the rest of us safe. Their families and friends miss them, pray for them and wait for their safe return.
Today, you have a chance to say thank you. When our soldiers serving on the other side of the globe are injured, they are often taken to the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. You can drop off supplies such as sweat suits, DVDs or gift cards for iTunes at the Charleston Town Center today from 10:00 to 4:00. Members of the Kanawha Valley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will then forward these supplies on.
