Waves of Fun!
Looking for something to do this weekend? If you lack time or funds for a beach trip, maybe a visit to the Wave Pool in Hurricane is in order!
The waves alternate on and off every ten minutes, with a bell to alert you to the change. There’s lots of room for the little ones as the water starts of just inches deep. Clear inner tubes are available to rent. (The inner tubes are clear for safety reasons, they don’t block the liefguards’ view of the swimmer.)
Your admission fee also covers the three water slides. Try them all and pick your favorite! (I prefer the middle one.)
The concession stand serves a good lunch at a decent price. If you get your fill of swimming, try some volleyball or the 18 hole putt-putt golf course.
