WV Bald Eagles

We have a robin nest on the side of our garage. I like to peek around the house and catch Mr. and Mrs. Robin sitting on their nest, being good bird parents.
If you like birds, you might want to take a peek at this live webcam of a bald eagle nest in Shepherdstown, WV. I was surprised to learn that West Virginia even has bald eagles, but apparently the eastern panhandle is home to about a dozen nesting pairs. Bald eagles mate for life, and this is the fourth year this pair has used their nest.
Happy spring, with baby birds on the way and love in the air! (Maybe that’s pollen in the air, but I’m an optimist and I’m calling it love.)
