WV in the Superbowl!
Well, SOMEONE from West Virginia is in the Superbowl anyway. Randy Moss is from Rand, West Virginia, and you can often hear him say he’s an alum of “Rand University” as the football players introduce themselves at the beginning of a televised game. (I like that, actually.) He was involved in lots of sports at Dupont High School and excelled in them all. We’re not surprised to see him in the NFL.
Randy is proud to be playing in the Superbowl in his 10th season in the NFL. He says, “Before I retired, I wanted the opportunity to play on this stage. Just playing in the Super Bowl. I wanted to be on this stage, to play the big game, the last game of the season. I’m set to come out here and show the world what I really got.” (As quoted in Sports Illustrated.)
Looking forward to watching you play, Randy!

Randy Moss had five catches for over sixty yards and one touchdown. Though the Patriots couldn’t pull off a perfect season, we’re still proud of the Mountain State native. Though he’s had controversy throughout his career, this year Randy was humble and determined, and I admired his efforts.

Very proud of Randy Moss! I have liked his attitude this year — he had a great season and took the game and his role in it seriously.
Thanks, Jason!
